Hello and welcome to Dixon's Creek Primary School. We are a small school located in the Yarra Valley region of Victoria.The school opened on the 12th of June 1875 with Luke Flanagan in charge until the 7th of September 1876. In 1887 O'Meara was the Head Teacher and the enrolment was 25.
The School was moved in 1916 to a site donated by William Bell for the school and church. more...

The school community wish to welcome all new Prep 2012 families. We have 19 preps this year and all have settled in extremely well. We also have two new teachers - Melanie Jacobs in Prep and Hayley Bawden in Year 1/2B. Both teachers are enthusastic, dedicated, happy professionals who love their work and enjoy spending each day with their classes. We are excited to start the year without major building works - a first for several years! We are eagerly awaiting the completion of our garden kitchen so that we can begin to cook our way to great health!
